Last updated: April 28, 2026
My Matched Home (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and home-matching service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
When you request to be matched with homes, we collect information you provide directly, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your home preferences (preferred area, community, budget, bedrooms, bathrooms, and move-in timeline)
- Any other details you choose to share with us or with a home specialist
We also automatically receive limited technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, device type, referring page, and the pages you visit on our site. This is used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Match you with new construction homes and connect you with a licensed home specialist
- Contact you by phone, SMS, or email about your request and available homes
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Calls and text messages (TCPA)
By submitting your phone number, you expressly consent to receive calls and SMS messages (including via automated technology) from My Matched Home and our home specialists at the number you provide, even if it is on a do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and you may ask to be removed from call lists by contacting us at the details below.
4. How we share information
We share the information you submit with the home builders, sales agents, and home specialists we partner with so they can contact you about homes that match your preferences. We may also share information:
- With service providers that help us operate the site (for example, hosting, analytics, email, and SMS providers), under confidentiality obligations
- When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep your session active during the home-finder flow, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may not work correctly without them.
6. Data retention and security
We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve given us by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
